Information you provide: name, email, phone, address, Social Security number or ITIN, date of birth, marital status, dependent information, bank details for direct deposit, and the documents you upload to the portal (W-2s, 480 informative returns, 1099s, etc.).

Technical information: basic usage data (pages visited, device type) collected through cookies to improve the service. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to provide our services: to prepare and file your returns and filings, communicate with you about the status of your case, issue and process invoices, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

How we protect your information

Sensitive information (such as your Social Security number, date of birth, and bank details) is stored encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Access to the administrative portal requires multi-factor authentication (MFA), and every document download is recorded in an audit log.

We limit access to your information to staff who need it to serve you. No system is completely infallible, and we work continuously to protect your data.

When we share information

We share your information with the relevant agencies (the Puerto Rico Treasury Department, the IRS, and others) only when you authorize us to file or act on your behalf.

We use service providers to operate the portal —payment processing, email delivery, and document storage— who handle data under our instructions and confidentiality obligations. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data retention

We keep your records for the period required by applicable tax laws and our professional obligations. When they are no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize them.

Your rights
